At EFS Facilities Services, we are looking for a highly driven and experienced Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing, supplier management, and procurement operations to support our business and project requirements across Jordan. This role is critical in ensuring cost optimization, supplier compliance, uninterrupted service delivery, and efficient procurement practices that align with operational and commercial objectives.
🔍 Role Overview
The Procurement Manager will be responsible for leading and managing end-to-end procurement activities to ensure timely sourcing of goods and services, cost efficiency, supplier performance, and seamless operational continuity. This role requires a strategic procurement professional with strong negotiation skills, commercial acumen, and experience managing procurement in dynamic environments such as facilities management, logistics, construction, waste management, or large-scale operational businesses.
🧩 Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all procurement activities to ensure timely sourcing and uninterrupted project and operational support
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to optimize cost, quality, and service delivery
- Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and onboard suppliers in line with organizational procurement policies and compliance standards
- Manage supplier relationships, performance reviews, service levels, and vendor compliance to ensure reliability and operational continuity
- Lead commercial negotiations for contracts, pricing, payment terms, and procurement agreements to maximize business value
- Oversee contract lifecycle management, including renewals, amendments, vendor obligations, and performance monitoring
- Drive procurement cost optimization initiatives through effective sourcing strategies, spend analysis, and market benchmarking
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, governance requirements, legal standards, and audit expectations
- Coordinate with operations, finance, project teams, and business stakeholders to align procurement planning with operational needs
- Monitor inventory, procurement cycles, lead times, and supplier delivery performance to avoid disruptions in project execution
- Support ERP and procurement system utilization for purchase orders, supplier management, reporting, and spend control
- Analyze procurement data, market trends, supplier risks, and category performance to support strategic decision-making
- Lead procurement teams and provide guidance on sourcing best practices, compliance, and operational procurement excellence
- Build contingency sourcing strategies and supplier alternatives to mitigate supply chain risks and business interruptions
✅ What We’re Looking For
- 7–10 years of procurement experience, preferably in facilities management, waste management, logistics, construction, engineering, or large-scale operational environments
- Strong experience in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, vendor management, and contract administration
- Proven ability to drive cost savings, procurement efficiency, and supplier performance improvements
- Strong commercial acumen with expertise in pricing analysis, budgeting, and procurement cost control
- Hands-on experience managing supplier compliance, procurement governance, and contract risk management
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across cross-functional teams
- Experience in ERP, procurement platforms, and digital sourcing tools
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication, and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage procurement operations in fast-paced, multi-site, and high-volume business environments
🎓 Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
- Professional certification such as CIPS, CPP, or other procurement certification is highly preferred
