Job Summary:
Oversee the Injectables Section, ensuring compliance with strict regulations and maintaining high-quality pharmaceutical production. Manage processes, equipment, and standards, while coordinating interdepartmental efforts for seamless production in accordance with industry guidelines. Also, act as the authority in the Production Manager's absence.
Technical Duties:
- Supervise and manage all operations within the Injectables Section, ensuring strict adherence to established protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee and direct the production processes specifically related to injectable pharmaceuticals, maintaining high standards of product quality and quantity in accordance with defined specifications.
- Coordinate and manage the efficient operation of equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and reliability.
- Develop and implement procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory guidelines in production processes.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on productivity, equipment performance, and product quality, contributing to departmental performance indicators.
- Facilitate collaboration and coordination between internal departments, particularly warehouses, ensuring seamless production operations and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Authorize and approve standard working methods and documentation, ensuring alignment with quality standards and operational requirements.
- Act as the designated authority in the absence of the Production Manager, undertaking assigned tasks and responsibilities on their behalf for the assigned department.
- Train employees on factory regulations and safety instructions and all aseptic manufacturing SOPs , adhere to environmental preservation protocols, and act as acting department head when required.
- Check on implement all aseptic (Washing, Depyrogenation and filling and capping) process according to approved procedures.
Job Specification:
- Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, Biology or any other related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing within the sterile (injectables) area, either in Production or Quality Assurance roles.
- Excellent command of English.
