Overall Purpose Of The Role
The HR Officer will play a vital role in delivering HR support to Key Jordan and its clients. This role combines internal HR responsibilities along with other tasks related to outsourcing services provided to Key Jordan clients. The HR Officer will support the development, coordination, and execution of HR activities, ensuring compliance with HR policies, labor laws, and company standards.
Key Accountabilities
- Assist in the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Prepare and maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and HR documentation.
- Prepare onboarding and orientation programs for new employees.
- Administer employee benefits, leaves, and payroll support.
- Track employee performance and assist in performance appraisal processes.
- Support employee relations initiatives, addressing employee grievances and fostering positive workplace culture.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, policies, and HR best practices.
- Assist in training and development activities, identifying training needs and coordinating sessions.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, social security contributions, and other statutory deductions in payroll processing.
- Generate payroll reports and provide periodic updates to management.
- Address employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and deductions.
- Collaborate with finance teams to ensure proper reconciliation and disbursement of salaries.
- Prepare periodic Projects / HR and payroll reports, including recruitment, employee performance, and payroll updates for Key Jordan and clients.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of all Projects / HR documentation and reporting to clients and management.
- Maintain HR compliance and provide recommendations to address areas of improvement.
- Perform other related duties as directed by the direct manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of HR experience, including payroll processing, HR outsourcing, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, payroll systems, and labor laws in Jordan.
- Previous experience in payroll processing, including familiarity with tax, social security, and other statutory requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and handle HR duties for multiple stakeholders (Key Jordan and clients).
