The Media Technical Senior Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end development and production of media content across various projects. This role includes scripting, shooting, editing, and coordinating media materials for stakeholders, as well as ensuring content aligns with donor requirements and organizational communication strategies.
Core Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary focal point for all technical and production-related media activities within programs, ensuring effective coordination with the Communications and Media Department.
- Coordinate between program teams and communications units to ensure timely, consistent, and high-quality media outputs aligned with organizational standards.
- Support the planning and budgeting of communication and media activities, including resource and production planning in coordination with Media and Communication team.
- Develop and manage production schedules, timelines, and workflows, ensuring all deliverables are completed within agreed deadlines.
- Provide technical support for the production of success stories, field documentation, and multimedia content, including photography, videography, and editing processes.
- Oversee field media production logistics and ensure effective documentation of program activities.
- Provide recommendations on media equipment, tools, and technologies to enhance production capacity.
- Prepare periodic reports on media coverage, communication outputs, and content performance.
- Coordinate with external service providers, including photographers, videographers, and production vendors, to ensure quality and compliance with organizational requirements based on the project’s needs.
- Support capacity building of program staff on basic media collection and documentation techniques.
- Contribute to the development of storytelling and content strategies to enhance program visibility and impact.
- Liaise with project managers on the development of media products and communication timelines respective to donor requirements and project implementation timelines.
- Maintains accurate records of equipment inventory, maintenance logs, and technical specifications.
- Documents technical workflows and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Media, or any other relevant field.
- Excellent English and Arabic language skills (written and spoken).
- 5-7 years of experience.
