Job Purpose:
Responsible for the overall management, coordination, and implementation of the assigned Aircraft input or maintenance work, from the pre-input stage to the post check completion, including confirmation and verification by the assigned certifying staff that the Aircraft is safe for flight and fully compliant with all CARC, EASA and FAA maintenance regulations and requirements as applicable with the assigned staff.
You are accountable to ensure that the work carried out on or around your aircraft is conducted in a safe and controlled manner.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise project teams, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, regulatory, and company standards.
- Coordinate closely with Planning, Ops Resources, and support departments to secure materials, skills, and manpower needed for project milestones.
- Ensure accurate task documentation, progressive sign‑off, and adherence to Part 145, MOE, and IPM requirements.
- Drive productivity, cost efficiency, process improvement, and maintain daily communication with customers through meetings and reporting.
- Monitor work execution, stop unsafe activities, escalate issues, and maintain proper housekeeping and environmental compliance.
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering or related field.
- Valid B1 or B2 license with at least two aircraft type ratings.
- 10–13 years of MRO or aviation maintenance experience.
- Certifications in PMP, safety, quality, Six Sigma, FTS & CDCCL, or 5S are preferred.
- Must pass the Quality Competency Assessment Program.
- Additional accredited maintenance or management training is a plus.
- Strong understanding of CARC, EASA Part 145, and FAA regulations.
- Experience collaborating across functions to deliver complex maintenance projects.
- ERP system knowledge and strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA) knowledge.
