The Function Purpose
Oversee and manage the logistics function to ensure efficient, dependable, and cost-effective operations, including warehousing, inventory management, archiving, and mail services.
Main Responsibilities
- Create and implement a long-term strategy for data archiving and retrieval that meets the Bank’s needs and regulatory requirements.
- Set and enforce SLAs for internal control and archiving, including document retrieval, ensure service timelines are met, efficiency is maximized, and turnaround times are minimized to meet or exceed business requirements.
- Achieve high accuracy in archiving by digitizing workflows, review processes regularly, recommend improvements, and ensure reliability and precision.
- Ensure the secure handling of sensitive documents and records, maintain confidentiality and compliance with regulations throughout the archiving and retrieval process.
- Monitor and manage the internal control and archiving budget to ensure it aligns with financial and operational goals.
- Ensure smooth mail unit operations to support internal and external communications.
- Lead sustainability efforts and adopt friendly environmental practices to reduce impact, such as waste reduction and energy efficiency and align with the Bank’s ESG strategy.
- Promote a customer-focused service culture in all departments, align their functions with business goals. Track performance, ensure accountability, and use feedback to drive measurable improvements that enhance satisfaction and support business objectives.
- Define, track, and review key performance indicators to ensure goals are met in operational, financial, and sustainability areas and take corrective actions when necessary to improve efficiency.
- Create a clear reporting system to track key metrics, provide timely updates on progress and achievements, while using feedback to drive continuous improvement.
