Role Overview
Echo Technology is looking for a Sales Support Executive to support the Sales & Business Development team in identifying and developing new business opportunities.
This role involves researching potential clients, initiating outreach, supporting proposal preparation, and maintaining organized records of leads and opportunities. It is a good opportunity for someone interested in building experience in business development within the technology sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Research
- Identify potential clients in target sectors
- Build and maintain updated prospect lists
- Monitor public announcements, tenders, and business opportunities
- Maintain accurate lead records in CRM or tracking systems
Client Outreach
- Conduct outbound calls and follow up with potential clients
- Introduce company services and share company profiles
- Schedule meetings for the sales team
- Track communication outcomes and follow-up activities
Client Visits
- Participate in client visits when required
- Present company materials and collect initial client requirements
- Prepare brief visit summaries and observations
Proposal Support
- Assist in preparing proposal documents and supporting materials
- Compile administrative and required documentation
- Coordinate with internal teams to collect technical and financial inputs
- Support proposal submissions through portals or physical delivery
Reporting
- Maintain updated records of leads and opportunities
- Submit weekly activity reports (calls made, leads identified, meetings scheduled, proposal support activities)
Requirements:
- 1–2 years of experience in sales support, lead generation, or business development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with phone outreach and client interaction
- Organized with strong attention to detail
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Background in IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field is preferred
