To take responsibility for front of house in the café, providing a vibrant, comprehensive and confident barista service, engaging with customers and providing additional support in the kitchen. Being the lead person for providing support and barista training to colleagues to ensure the restaurant establishes a reputation as a destination for great coffee and tea.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares and presents beverages according to established recipe and presentation standards to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Serves prepared food items such as muffins and bagels as requested from customers.
- Greets all customer and present beverage menu to achieve great customer experience.
- Discuss beverage items, make suggestions and answer any inquiries to improve service provided and to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Describes current promotions and new products to colleagues to assist them to improve their skills and grow in their career.
- Takes customer orders accurately to avoid any conflicts.
- Ensures the cleanliness and sanitation of the work area including sanitizing utensils, or equipment to follow the hygiene standers of the café
- Monitors Stock inventory according to requirements by employer to notify them of any shortage.
- Performs opening and closing duties for every shift.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma.
- Strong English and Arabic language skills (written and spoken).
- 2-4 years of experience.
