Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Application Support Engineer to support, monitor, and enhance production systems. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience working with modern infrastructure and monitoring tools and will collaborate closely with engineering and operations teams to ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor, support, and maintain production applications to ensure high availability and performance.
• Troubleshoot applications, infrastructure, deployment, and API-related issues across environments.
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries for operational support and analysis.
• Support containerized applications running on Kubernetes (OpenShift).
• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployments using Jenkins.
• Monitor application logs using Elasticsearch and Kibana.
• Support and troubleshoot Kafka clusters, topics, producers, and consumers.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement long-term fixes.
• Communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
• Maintain runbooks and operational documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Strong experience with SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
• Experience with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
• Working knowledge of Elasticsearch.
• Experience supporting Apache Kafka.
• Familiarity with RESTful API integrations.
• Linux/Unix system knowledge.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with OpenShift.
