Job Description
We are looking for a QA Engineer with around 3 years of experience in testing web and mobile applications to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. The candidate will be responsible for understanding requirements, preparing test cases, setting up test data or configurations, executing tests, identifying defects, and working closely with the development team to resolve issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
- Prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
- Perform functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and system testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
- Work closely with developers and product teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
- Participate in test planning and review meetings.
- Ensure test coverage and quality standards are met before release.
- Support UAT and production validation when required.
Required Skills
- 3 years of experience in Manual Testing
- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Experience testing web or mobile applications
- Experience in writing test cases and executing test scenarios
- Good experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
- Knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and documentation skills
