About The Role
We are currently seeking a
Mid–Senior Video Editor to join the
Class Production – Operations team. This role reports to the
Production Manager and works closely with content producers, educators, and creative teams to produce high-quality educational video content that enhances the learning experience for students across our platform.
The ideal candidate is a creative and detail-oriented editor with strong storytelling skills and technical expertise in video editing and motion graphics, capable of transforming recorded lessons into engaging and structured educational content.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit recorded educational lessons and long-form academic content.
- Structure and refine lesson videos to improve clarity, pacing, and engagement.
- Apply advanced editing techniques including transitions, motion graphics, overlays, and visual effects when needed.
- Perform color correction and basic color grading to maintain visual consistency.
- Clean and enhance audio quality to ensure clarity for educational delivery.
- Add titles, graphics, lower thirds, and branding elements according to company guidelines.
- Review raw footage and identify the best takes and visual flow for lessons.
- Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Optimize videos for different digital platforms and learning management systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Media Production, Film, Multimedia, or a related field.
- 3–6+ years of professional experience in video editing.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Strong experience with Adobe After Effects for motion graphics and visual enhancements.
- Good knowledge of Adobe Audition or professional audio cleanup workflows.
- Solid understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
- Ability to manage large video projects and maintain organized file structures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
- Proficiency in Arabic and English is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience editing educational or e-learning content.
- Experience working in a studio production environment.
- Familiarity with branding guidelines and content optimization for digital platforms.
