The Clinical Informatics Consultant will be responsible for supporting the implementation and optimization of Digital Health platforms/systems, analyzing healthcare data, and providing expertise in health informatics. You will collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure efficient workflows, data quality, and compliance with regulations. Additionally, you will contribute to improving healthcare delivery by leveraging analytical and technological tools to support decision-making processes.
Key Responsibility:-
- Engage and facilitate discussion with clients and regulators;
- Proficiency in Health Informatics and Informatics to support healthcare decision-making and system optimization;
- Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate data and healthcare processes for continuous improvement;
- Experience with Information Technology and Electronic Health Records (EMR) systems implementation and management is required, and knowledge of HIEs, patient apps and public health digital platforms (e.g. disease registries) is an advantage;
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams, including healthcare professionals, regulatory bodies, and technology experts;
- Knowledge of healthcare standards and regulatory compliance;
- Collaborate closely with the Business Development and Project Management teams on detailing proposals and Statement of Work;
- Translate strategic initiatives from roadmaps into actionable items;
- Propose solutions and develop them into detailed Requests for Proposals (RFPs);
- Review and validate commercial proposals to ensure alignment with project objectives and business needs;
- Evaluate potential vendors and contribute to the vendor selection process;
- Support the Project Manager with all clinical related activities;
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Health Informatics, Information Technology, Healthcare Management, or related field
- Previous experience in clinical informatics is required
- Fluency in English is required; fluency in Arabic is a plus
Minimum Experience:
- 7-10 years relevant experience in healthcare, healthcare IT and EMR implementations.
- Ideally has Middle East/Greenfield project/clinical experience
