Job Purpose:
Oversee and guide the activities of the Fire & Environment team, ensuring proper monitoring of tasks and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Manage day‑to‑day operations and support the upkeep of property assets, working under the direction of the Facilities Manager.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Involved with defining the Fire & Environmental procedures for the accomplishment of inspections, improvements/ changes.
- Monitor Fire & Environment performance and take all necessary actions by doing Non- Conformance Reports and ensure that it is accomplished by maintenance teams.
- Organize the various Environment & Protection (EP) / Fire audits and diagnostics, and lead action plans that result from them.
- Development of Fire & Environment awareness and training programs for employees and managers.
- Oversee field examinations and report hazardous locations and materials.
- Develop and recommend solutions to eliminate pollution and environmental hazards.
- Supervise the collection and analysis of test samples of wastewater, Dust, Emissions, Foam, etc.
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or any related field.
- 7–10 years of proven experience in Facilities, Fire, and Environmental management.
- Professional certifications are preferred (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH, or Jordanian OSHI).
- Must maintain a valid Jordanian driver’s license.
- Good command of MS Office Suite and related computer applications.
