Position Overview
As a Senior Recruitment Consultant, you will play a strategic and commercial role within Neptune Careers. You will manage end-to-end recruitment assignments, build strong client partnerships, contribute to business development, and mentor other team members if needed.
You will operate as a trusted advisor to clients, delivering high-quality talent solutions while contributing to revenue growth and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Recruitment Delivery
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for junior-to-senior and executive-level roles.
- Lead complex search assignments with a consultative approach.
- Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies, including headhunting and talent mapping.
- Build and maintain strong pipelines of high-quality candidates.
Client Management & Business Development
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key clients.
- Understand client hiring strategies, culture, and workforce planning needs.
- Identify new business opportunities and contribute to agency revenue growth.
- Negotiate terms of business, fees, and service agreements.
Candidate Advisory
- Conduct in-depth competency-based interviews and assessments.
- Present high-quality shortlists with detailed market insights.
- Manage offer negotiation and onboarding processes.
- Build long-term professional relationships with senior talent.
Leadership & Mentorship
- Support and mentor junior consultants and researchers.
- Share best practices and market intelligence across the team.
- Contribute to improving internal recruitment processes and standards.
Market Expertise
- Stay informed on industry trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor activity.
- Provide consultative insights to clients on talent availability and hiring strategies.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of tech recruitment experience (mandatory)
- 1+ years of recruitment agency experience is highly preferred.
- Proven success managing the full recruitment cycle.
- Strong track record of billing and meeting revenue targets.
- Experience handling senior-level or executive search assignments preferred.
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong business development and client-facing capabilities.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple mandates simultaneously. Professional, discreet, and commercially driven.
