Position Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Product Manager to join our team. The Product Manager will play a crucial role in achieving a balanced and commercially viable product range while providing effective marketing support. This position involves continuous product range assessment, research and development proposal creation, market analysis, competitor research, and coordination of testing and development projects. Responsibilities
- Monitor and evaluate the product portfolio using internal and external market data.
- Recommend improvements to maintain a balanced and commercially successful product range.
- Research and develop new product concepts with detailed cost proposals.
- Coordinate product development projects and manage approvals through established processes.
- Conduct market, competitor, and industry trend analysis to identify opportunities.
- Initiate and oversee product testing and development requests in collaboration with R&D.
- Track the progress of active R&D projects and ensure timely follow-up.
- Test and validate the performance of new or improved products through laboratory and field testing.
- Coordinate field trials with applicators to collect practical performance feedback.
- Support the launch of new or enhanced products and communicate updates to operating companies.
- Share R&D achievements and product innovations with internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare and present R&D newsletters and updates to keep stakeholders informed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, marketing, or any related field.
- 4+ years of experience in product management or related roles.
- Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and AutoCAD.
