Role Summary
As a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will work closely with developers, product managers, DevOps, and business stakeholders to embed quality throughout the software development life cycle, drive test automation initiatives, and continuously improve testing frameworks, processes, and product quality.
Responsibilities
• Design and execute comprehensive test strategies for enterprise applications, payment gateways, and critical system integrations
• Develop and maintain robust automation frameworks for API, UI, mobile, and performance testing
• Perform advanced root cause analysis of production issues and complex defects across multiple systems
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines with quality gates and continuous validation
• Conduct performance and load testing to validate system scalability and reliability
• Prepare detailed test documentation including test plans, automation scripts, and quality metrics reports
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to ensure end-to-end quality delivery
Qualifications
Core Experience
• 6+ years in software quality assurance with strong technical depth
• Expert proficiency in manual and automated testing methodologies
• Experience in financial systems, fintech domain (strong advantage)
Automation & Technical Skills
• Hands-on automation development using Selenium, Appium, REST Assured, or Playwright
• Strong programming skills in C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab) and Git workflows
• Advanced SQL proficiency for complex queries and database testing
• Performance testing with JMeter, LoadRunner, or k6
API & Security Testing
• Advanced API testing using Postman, SoapUI, REST Assured, Katalon Studio
• Security testing with OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, or similar tools
• Experience testing secure APIs and identifying vulnerabilities
AI-Powered Testing
• Practical experience using AI tools for test automation (Testim, Mabl, Applitools, or other tools)
• Leveraging LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) for test script generation and optimisation
• AI-based visual testing and test case enhancement
• Integrating AI capabilities into existing automation workflows

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
• Excellent communication skills with stakeholders
• Self-driven with a continuous learning mindset
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality excellence
