The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for managing daily warehouse operations, ensuring the accurate handling, storage, and dispatch of goods. The role focuses on inventory control, order fulfillment, and maintaining safety and efficiency standards. It also involves supervising warehouse staff, optimizing space and processes, and supporting coordination with other departments such as fleet, sales, and procurement.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee stock movement and maintain accurate inventory records
- Supervise loading/unloading and ensure timely order fulfillment
- Conduct regular stock counts, audits, and spot checks
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization
- Ensure FEFO implementation and manage pallet movements
- Support fleet activities and report incidents promptly
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and reports
- Enforce safety regulations and report any hazards
- Lead, train, and monitor warehouse team performance
Job Requirements
Education & Knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures and inventory systems
Skills & Experience
- 5–8 years in warehouse operations, including 1+ year in a supervisory role
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and warehouse management systems
