Charterhouse are working in exclusive partnership with a leading financial institution, who are striving to revamp their retail banking on a global level. Our client is looking to hire an experienced and driven Head of Strategy and Execution to join their high-performing team based in Amman, Jordan.
The Head of Strategy and Execution will be responsible for defining the organisation’s long-term strategic direction and ensuring that strategy is effectively translated into actionable plans and measurable outcomes. The role will overlook the company’s strategy and execution within the retail banking function on a global level. Additionally, the role bridges leadership vision and day-to-day execution, working closely with the CEO and senior leadership to drive growth, operational efficiency, and transformation initiatives.
Key responsibilities typically include strategic planning, performance management, overseeing cross-functional initiatives, tracking KPIs, and ensuring alignment across business units to deliver strategic priorities on time and within budget.
The ideal candidate will be degree-educated with 10–15+ years of experience in strategy, management consulting, transformation, or senior operational roles. Experience in top-tier consulting (McKinsey, BCG, Bain), corporate strategy, or PMO/transformation leadership is highly advantageous. The candidate will have proven experience operating at C-suite level and translating strategic vision into executable delivery, with strong industry expertise relevant to the business (e.g. banking, fintech, energy, technology).
