Job Purpose:
Liaises with the operations departments to develop, test and refine operations processes and practices. Transforms data into insights that drive business value.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc. and provide process performance reports on demand.
- Develop and maintain business intelligence solutions for the organization.
- Participate in the planning, research, analysis, development, and implementation of new and modifications to existing applications and processes to provide new or improved capabilities, products, and/or services.
- Analyze complex data sets and present trends to stakeholders.
- Provide reports through business intelligence applications to improve business processes.
- Collaborate with team members for data collection and executing the MRO’s mission.
- Identify data quality issues and report any deficiencies.
- Create and maintain technical documentation that includes the design, requirements and user manuals for the organization.
- Support the MRO maintenance and engineering systems development, ensuring proper execution of the operational plans. Follow up and bug reporting.
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience:
- B.Sc. degree in engineering or a related field.
- Accredited certificates in business intelligence (BI) are a plus.
- 1–3 years of related industry experience in engineering, supply chain, or production planning, preferably within an aviation environment.
- Knowledge of data analytics techniques and tools, including Tableau, Power BI, Power Query, Python, and SQL.
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.
- Strong time management, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent command of the English language.
