The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all Truck Control System Operations to supervise and execute truck control operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth truck movement in and out of the of Aqaba city, adherence to safety and compliance standards, and real-time coordination with the Control Room and yard teams in the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute truck movement workflows in line with approved operational plans and TCS instructions.
- Monitor truck entry/exit gates, marshaling yards, and internal yard areas during shifts to ensure smooth flow and compliance.
- Coordinate with the Control Room to manage truck dispatching, yard allocation, and gate operations.
- Respond to operational issues raised by drivers, clearance agents, and transport companies during the shift.
- Conduct field inspections to verify safety, orderliness, and adherence to procedures.
- Ensure proper documentation is collected and processed for truck movements.
- Monitor shift-specific KPIs such as truck turnaround time and gate processing efficiency.
- Enforce HSE standards and report any incidents or violations immediately.
- Support crisis management efforts during operational disruptions to maintain continuity.
- Regulate truck movement within the Aqaba city to prevent congestion and delays.
- Provide guidance and support to drivers and visitors during the shift.
- Report shifts activities, incidents, and performance metrics to the Operations Manager.
Requirements:
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation, or related field.
- 3- 5 years of experience in similar role .
