Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Procurement Assistant Manager at Marasi Food & Beverage Services LLC. Based in Amman, Jordan, the individual in this role will be responsible for managing procurement operations, sourcing quality food and beverage products, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring vendor compliance with food safety and quality regulations. The role also involves maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, overseeing inventory management, and finding cost-effective solutions to meet business needs while maintaining high standards in service and product quality.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Food Service and Food Safety practices
- Demonstrated expertise in Customer Service and ensuring Customer Satisfaction
- Experience in sourcing and handling Seafood items
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Proficiency in supplier relationship management and procurement processes
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience in food and beverage procurement will be an advantage
