Position: O&M Technical Team Leader – Solar PV Projects
Summary
We are seeking a qualified and motivated O&M Team Leader to join our renewable energy team. The candidate should have strong technical expertise in solar PV systems, leadership skills, and experience managing large-scale operations and maintenance portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise O&M teams across multiple PV sites, ensuring optimal plant performance and minimum downtime.
- Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans.
- Manage project budgets, pricing strategies, and cost optimization.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and manufacturers for warranty, performance, and operational issues.
- Oversee technical troubleshooting for MV/LV systems, inverters, and communication devices.
- Prepare reports on performance ratio (PR), downtime, maintenance activities, and system efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer manuals, safety regulations, and company procedures.
- Utilize ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365) for reporting, work orders, and documentation.
- Train, guide, and evaluate engineers and technicians to build a high-performing team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical Power Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in PV Operations & Maintenance, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or team leader role.
- Strong knowledge of ABB central inverters, medium voltage systems, and SCADA/monitoring platforms.
- Proven experience with ERP systems, reporting tools, and performance analysis.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
