Job Purpose:
To conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and support of all mechanical equipment used by operations to serve customer needs. This includes a full range of handling services such as aircraft pushback and the safe operation of the ground support Equipment (GSE). GES Engineer responsible for designing, building, and operating world-class test stands to support
initial testing stages and engines.
Responsibilities
- Perform and schedule preventive maintenance, services, troubleshoots, repairs, inspects, test, operate, and maintain serviceability.
- Design advanced propulsion test stands, including 3D modeling, fluids and structural analysis, fabrication drawings, fluids P&IDs, and instrumentation lists.
- Supervise the commissioning, initial operations of GSE, and solve a wide range of technical challenges of timeframe and long-term impact.
- Enhance safety measures within the facility section, and comply with the appropriate fuel standards.
- Support operations and perform related improvements to existing test stands
Qualifications
- Fresh graduate at entry level or with 2 to 5+ years of experience in the relevant field and industry.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or any related field.
- Attention to detail, ability to see interactions with other systems to avoid problems.
- Experience in defining maintenance requirements, implementing, activating, and maintaining GSE.
- Experience in maintaining structural/mechanical equipment, electrical control systems, audio/video equipment, and ground communication systems as required by the position.
