Key Responsibilities:
1. Validation Responsibilities
• Develop and execute Validation Master Plans (VMP), Protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ), and Reports for equipment, utilities, and critical systems.
• Perform risk assessments and determine validation scope based on regulatory and operational priorities.
• Ensure proper calibration and qualification of measuring instruments and control systems.
• Maintain validation documentation in accordance with GMP and company procedures.
• Support validation of cleaning processes, manufacturing systems, and analytical instruments.
• Participate in change control, deviation, and CAPA processes related to validated systems.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance (QA) to ensure validation packages meet regulatory and internal standards.

2. Maintenance Responsibilities
• Plan and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of utilities, production, and laboratory equipment.
• Develop and maintain maintenance schedules, checklists, and records in line with GMP documentation practices.
• Supervise and coordinate with external service providers and contractors for equipment servicing and calibration.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and propose technical solutions to minimize downtime.
• Support spare parts management and ensure critical spares are available.
• Participate in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety, health, and environmental (SHE) requirements.

3. Compliance and Continuous Improvement
• Ensure all maintenance and validation activities are performed according to GMP, GDP, and safety regulations.
• Participate in internal and external audits and provide required technical documentation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and equipment reliability enhancement.
• Train production and technical staff on equipment operation, maintenance, and validation awareness.

Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in validation and/or maintenance within a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, ISO 22716, ISO 13485, or FDA 21 CFR Part 210/211.
• Familiar with HVAC systems, purified water systems, compressed air, and cleanroom operations.
• Experience with Calibration, Qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ), and Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Excellent documentation and report writing skills.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams.
• Experience in Equipment FAT/SAT, Computerized System Validation (CSV), or Automation Systems.
• Certification or training in GMP, Validation, or Maintenance Management.
• Knowledge of risk-based validation and lean maintenance practices.
