Position Overview:
As a Group Maintenance & Operations Engineer, the role involves maintenance activities across the group's factories activities, ensuring smooth operations, evaluating health, safety, and environmental standards, and managing essential software systems. An essential aspect of this position is initiating and managing group operations manual for supporting all operating companies in maintaining the flawless operation of their production lines.
Responsibilities:
Maintenance and Operations Management:
- Supervise operational and maintenance processes to ensure equipment and facilities operate at peak efficiency.
- Coordinate with asset manufacturers to obtain technical support.
- Address and resolve asset-related issues both remotely and on-site as required.
HSE Oversight:
- Assess Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) practices across facilities to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Revise and enhance systems and procedures to ensure the compliance of health and safety standards.
Software Administration:
- Manage and optimize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and SAP software to enhance maintenance and operational effectiveness.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate and maintain comprehensive reports on maintenance, operations, and HSE activities for informed decision-making.
Operations Manual:
- Finishing and implementing the group operations manual, which should be the fingerprint and base of all group operations activities.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Fluency in English and Arabic is a must, both written and spoken.
Languages:
- Fluent Proficiency in Arabic language is required
- Excellent command of English language
Years of experience:
- 4- 5 years of experience is required for this role.
Key Competencies / Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Preferred knowledge of SAP software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Prior experience in maintenance and operations is a plus
