About the Role:
As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be at the heart of the development process, designing, building, and maintaining reliable and high-performing backend systems. You will work closely with a talented team of developers, product managers, and designers to bring new ideas to life and continuously improve existing systems.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain scalable backend services using Python and Java.
- Design and implement robust RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, efficient, and secure solutions.
- Review code, share best practices, and help shape technical decisions.
- Troubleshoot and optimize systems for performance and reliability.
- Mentor and support junior engineers within the team.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of hands-on backend development experience.
- Strong experience with Python and Java (both are must-haves).
- Good understanding of microservices architecture, API design, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Solid knowledge of databases – both SQL and NoSQL.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar tools is a plus.
- A problem-solver who writes clean, maintainable code.
