Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Backend Developer (PHP Laravel) based in Amman, Jordan. The Senior Backend Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the backend systems of our applications. Day-to-day tasks include writing and maintaining code, ensuring the performance and reliability of servers, collaborating with front-end developers, and optimizing the back-end structure. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Laravel Framework.
- Integrate APIs and manage database structures efficiently.
- Ensure high performance, scalability, and security of web applications.
- Troubleshoot, test, and optimize existing codebases.
- Computer Science and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills
- Back-End Web Development and Software Development skills
- Proficiency in Programming
- Experience with database management and server-side technologies
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Experience with cloud services and API integration is a plus
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in PHP (Laravel) development.
- Solid knowledge of MySQL, RESTful APIs, and modern backend architecture.
- Familiar with frontend integration and deployment tools.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
