Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a DevOps Engineer based in Amman. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for managing infrastructure as code (IaC), developing software, maintaining continuous integration pipelines, and performing system administration tasks, primarily on Linux environments. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deployment and operation of software solutions.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or a related field.
- Deep expertise in Azure Cloud and AWS.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
- Solid understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (ECS, with knowledge of EKS preferred).
- Advanced knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, with significant experience in Azure Pipelines and github Actions
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, for automation.
- Strong grasp of networking, DNS, and load balancing concepts, with experience using Cloudflare or similar tools.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, or equivalent platforms.
