Position Summary: Manages and directs all physical construction activities on site, ensuring effective project execution, resource allocation, and adherence to time and safety objectives. Reporting To: Resident Engineer / Senior Project Manager.
Key Qualifications And Requirements (Mandatory)
- Educational Foundation: A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, requiring at least 15 years of overall professional experience regardless of degree type.
- Mandatory Certification: No specific certification is mandatory.
- Specialized Project Experience: Required experience is specific to the GCC region, coupled with comprehensive knowledge of FIDIC designs and contractual requirements to manage execution in alignment with the Engineer's contractual duties.
Core Duties And Responsibilities
- Site Execution: Supervise all day-to-day site operations, managing workflows and coordinating construction phases to align with the approved Master Programme.
- Contractual Awareness: Apply detailed knowledge of FIDIC conditions to site operations, facilitating the Engineer’s duties regarding certification and assessment processes.
- Safety Integration: Ensure that construction activities are executed in compliance with safety standards and reporting any concerns immediately to the HSE Manager/RE.
