Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Accountant based in Amman. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing general ledger accounts, conducting reconciliations, preparing tax returns, and supporting audits. Additional responsibilities include financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards.
Qualifications
- Experience in Financial Statements preparation, General Ledger management, and Conducting Reconciliations
- Proficiency in Tax Return preparation and Audit support
- Skills in Financial Analysis, Budgeting, and Forecasting
- Knowledge of local and international accounting standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA or equivalent certification is a plus
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
