About The Role
Jo Academy is seeking an
International Programs (IP) Social Media Content Creator to design and produce engaging digital content tailored for students pursuing international academic programs such as
IGCSE, IB, SAT, and AP.
This role focuses on creating high-quality reels, stories, and educational posts that resonate with Gen Z learners, combining creativity, accuracy, and relevance. The Content Creator will collaborate with academic and marketing teams to ensure educational value is delivered in a visually appealing and relatable way across multiple platforms.
This position is ideal for a
creative storyteller with experience in Gen Z-focused content creation, social media management, and a strong familiarity with international academic curricula.
- Plan, script, and create engaging content for students of IGCSE, IB, SAT, and AP programs.
- Produce reels, stories, and posts that align with Jo Academy’s brand voice and educational goals.
- Collaborate with academic and marketing teams to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Edit and format short-form videos using platform-specific trends and styles.
- Adapt content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms.
- Stay updated on Gen Z social media behaviour and education trends to optimize engagement.
- Support teachers and student representatives in recording sessions, ensuring smooth production.
- Maintain a content calendar for consistent publishing across channels.
- Monitor performance using analytics tools and prepare weekly/monthly reports.
- Perform additional content-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Technology, or a related field.
- Mandatory background in IGCSE, IB, SAT, AP, or ACT (as a student or graduate).
- 2–4 years of experience in social media content creation, preferably targeting Gen Z.
- Proven experience managing Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms.
- Strong video editing skills (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut).
- Proficiency in design tools such as Canva and Adobe Photoshop.
- Knowledge of international program terminology and educational content requirements.
- Experience with content scheduling platforms (Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer).
- Bilingual proficiency: Arabic and English.
