About the Role:
We are seeking a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology strategy and oversee the development of innovative solutions that drive our business forward. The CTO will be responsible for setting the company’s technology vision, managing the engineering teams, and ensuring that technology initiatives align with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement the company’s technology strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and scale a team of developers, engineers, and IT professionals.
- Oversee software development, infrastructure, and IT operations to ensure performance, scalability, and security.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Manage product architecture and ensure best practices in software engineering.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Sales, Operations) to drive digital transformation and innovation.
- Establish processes for project management, quality assurance, and continuous integration.
- Develop and manage technology budgets, vendor relations, and outsourcing strategies.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory standards.
Must have skills:
- Proven experience as a CTO, Head of Technology, or senior technical leadership role.
- Strong background in software development and systems architecture.
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and scalable infrastructure - etc.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and compliance frameworks.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to balance innovation with practicality and cost-effectiveness.
Nice to have skills:
- Experience in FinTech, FX, or financial services industry.
- Knowledge of AI, machine learning, or blockchain technologies.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Previous experience scaling tech teams in fast-growing companies/startups.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive technology leadership experience.
