Role Description The Ticketing Specialist will handle day-to-day ticketing operations, including issuing, modifying, and canceling flight reservations, and ensuring accurate fare calculations and compliance with airline rules. This full-time, on-site role based in Amman involves managing customer inquiries, providing travel options, and supporting visa-related travel arrangements in coordination with other internal teams. The Ticketing Specialist will process bookings through GDS or airline systems, maintain up-to-date records, and ensure all tickets and itineraries are delivered correctly and on time. The role also includes resolving ticketing and reservation issues, coordinating with airlines and partners, and contributing to sales targets through effective upselling and cross-selling of services.
Qualifications
- Strong ticketing and reservation skills, including experience with Ticket Sales and Reservations systems.
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service capabilities for handling client inquiries and resolving issues professionally.
- Proven Sales aptitude, with the ability to promote travel packages, additional services, and related products.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, fare construction, and itinerary management.
- Familiarity with airline booking platforms or GDS (e.g., Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre) is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Amman, manage time effectively, and perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic proficiency in English and Arabic, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous experience in travel agencies, ticketing, or hospitality is an advantage; relevant diploma or degree in travel, tourism, or business is preferred.
