We’re looking for a Tech Lead to join our engineering team in Amman: Someone who is passionate about coding and architecting complex systems, eager to continually learn and explore new technologies, and skilled at mentoring and sharing knowledge with others.
What You Will Do
- Lead a team of frontend and backend engineers, overseeing execution, quality, and ongoing team development.
- Architect clean, scalable systems that support complex workflows, data analytics, and AI-driven functionality.
- Build and maintain core components of the platform with a focus on performance, extensibility, and maintainability.
- Design and deliver AI-powered features, such as intelligent agents, natural language interfaces, and automated insights, that enhance decision-making for HR teams.
- Establish and maintain engineering best practices across testing, code quality, security, and deployment.
- Stay current on modern architecture patterns and infrastructure innovations, applying them thoughtfully to the platform’s evolution.
What You Bring
You’re a systems thinker with at least 5 years of software engineering experience (including a leadership role.)
You’re comfortable working across backend (e.g., PHP with Yii, Python, REST APIs, async processing), frontend (e.g., Vue.js, Vite, state management), and databases (e.g., MySQL, data modeling, performance tuning).
You have experience or strong interest in AI and LLMs; embeddings, NLP, or integrating foundation models into real products. You’re also confident navigating DevOps practices, containers, and cloud infrastructure like AWS.
Beyond the tech, you bring strong communication skills, a passion for mentorship, and a mindset that pushes teams forward.
