Job Summary:
The PMO-CoE Supervisor is a responsible for planning, executing, and delivering strategic, high-impact projects that are standalone in nature but align with the organization’s long-term strategic objectives. This role requires project management expertise, and the ability to effectively manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all organizational levels. The incumbent will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the defined quality standards while adhering to PMO governance frameworks and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Conduct project scoping sessions to clearly define project goals, deliverables, and success criteria in alignment with business objectives.
- Establish project governance structures, setting up steering committees, project boards, and communication protocols.
- Oversee project execution, monitoring adherence to project plans and schedules while ensuring timely completion of project milestones.
- Implement project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) as appropriate to the project’s scope and complexity.
- Lead cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Resolve conflicts effectively, maintaining project momentum and team cohesion.
Stakeholder Management & business Intelligence:
- Develop and execute stakeholder engagement plans, ensuring alignment of project objectives with business priorities.
- Facilitate effective communication with senior leadership, project sponsors, and other key stakeholders, ensuring transparency and maintaining alignment.
- Provide detailed project status reports, dashboards, and executive summaries, highlighting key risks, issues, and milestones using Power BI and other Power Platform tools.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
- Track project performance against predefined KPIs, leveraging project management software and analytical tools.
- Conduct project performance reviews, ensuring projects remain aligned with scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
- Lead post-project evaluations and lessons learned sessions, documenting insights and recommendations for future projects.
Governance:
- Ensure adherence to PMO governance frameworks, policies, and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
- Implement quality control processes to verify deliverables meet project specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project charters, risk logs, financial records, and lessons learned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP), or equivalent project management certifications.
- Experience: 7+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in managing strategic standalone projects.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, MS Visio, JIRA) and data analysis tools PowerBI and Excell & Presentation Skills.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with experience in conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships effectively.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with senior stakeholders.
