DescriptionSelection Criteria
- A High School Diploma is required; a Bachelor's or Master’s degree is preferred and will be considered an asset.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced working skills in multiple computer software applications (e.g. inter-related word processing, spreadsheets, electronic mail, database and presentation applications).
- Demonstrated advanced knowledge of diverse and complex administrative routines, processes, and procedures.
- Prior experience in a wide range of secretarial, administrative, logistical, and financial tasks is desirable.
- Strong administrative, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with IFC systems and platforms such as iDesk, iPortal, Webex, Admin Portal, and SAP.
- Familiarity with IBRD and IFC policies and procedures is an advantage.
- Proven ability to produce high-quality work under pressure and deliver assignments within tight deadlines.
- Strong team orientation with the ability to collaborate across teams, while also demonstrating initiative and independence.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a high degree of tact, discretion, and sound judgment to effectively interact with staff at all levels, as well as external clients and partners.
- High level of dependability and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Willingness and capacity to learn new systems and processes to support evolving office needs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic, including the ability to draft and edit correspondence and materials.
