Role Overview
At Adpro&, we believe the scroll is where brands are made, broken, and reborn. We’re looking for a Social Media Strategy Manager with 5+ years of experience to take ownership of how brands behave, show up, and grow across digital platforms. This role goes beyond content planning — it’s about shaping narratives, driving strategic clarity, and leading the kind of work that actually earns attention.
You’ll serve as the strategic lead across a portfolio of clients, collaborating closely with strategists, creatives, media, influencers, and analysts to deliver bold, insight-led social strategies that translate into brand and business impact. You’re a thinker and a doer, equally comfortable building big-picture strategies and rolling up your sleeves to rewrite a weak brief or reframe a flat plan.
Main Responsibilities
Strategic Ownership & Creative Partnership
- Develop integrated social strategies that span always-on content, campaigns, influencer activations, and paid/organic touchpoints
- Craft compelling creative briefs rooted in insight, data, and cultural relevance
- Lead briefing sessions and strategic ideation workshops with creative and planning teams
- Contribute to and lead pitch thinking, new business opportunities, and creative platform development
- Collaborate with creatives to push the work beyond formats and into relevance
- Act as a trusted strategic voice in client meetings and cross-functional internal reviews
Planning & Oversight
- Own monthly content planning and flat plans with the social team, aligning creative ideas with platform behaviors and strategic priorities
- Ensure monthly content is driven by opportunity, not obligation — what to post, where, why, and to what effect
- Spot and integrate relevant cultural moments, platform trends, or creator collaborations
- Ensure paid/organic integration is clear, with media objectives matched to content strategy
- Align with moderation and community teams to adapt messaging based on audience sentiment
Review, Reporting & Optimization
- Own the review and sign-off of all relevant and discipline specific creative, campaign, and content briefs
- Oversee the strategic direction of all social media reports and performance reviews before they are shared with clients
- Translate data into insights, and insights into clear, actionable changes
- Partner with moderation, media and performance teams to assess monthly learnings and improve future planning
- Guide clients through what to scale, evolve, or stop based on evidence, not assumptions
Quarterly & Annual Business Reviews
- Lead quarterly and annual strategic reviews, including a deep dive into performance, competitor activity, platform evolution, and creative impact
- Identify strategic deviations, missed opportunities, and key learnings
- Build long-term strategic roadmaps that deliver brand health, audience growth, and campaign performance
Skills & Competencies
- 5–7 years of experience in social media strategy or integrated content strategy within a creative or digital agency
- Deep fluency across Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok (when and if needed), and familiarity with influencer and creator ecosystems
- Excellent research, synthesis, and storytelling skills, from insight to impact
- Strong client leadership and presentation abilities
- Experience guiding creative teams from strategic direction through execution
- Comfort with social listening and analytics tools like Brand24, Creator Studio, Sprinklr, or Google Analytics
- Sharp understanding of paid social formats, KPIs, and performance frameworks
- Ability to lead, coach, and elevate junior strategists or social executives
