Accountabilities and Key Roles:
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the bank’s internal ESG goals set in the ESG strategy in close coordination with different functions at the bank.
- Identify new initiatives and programs that promotes environmental sustainability and social responsibility within the bank.
- Monitor and assess the performance of ESG related initiatives, ensuring alignment with the bank’s overall ESG goals. This includes working closely with the ESG Champions to collect ESG data in an accurate and timely manner.
- Foster a culture of sustainability among employees through engagement programs and internal campaigns.
- Coordinate with the TL&D the delivery of ESG-related training programs for various levels of the bank.
- Assist in compiling, analyzing, and reporting ESG data in accordance with relevant frameworks (e.g., GRI).
- Contribute to the preparation of regular ESG performance reports for internal stakeholders and external audiences, including the annual ESG report, Sustainable Finance Report, ESG section in the Annual Report.
- Collaborate with the Corporate Communications team to ensure consistent and accurate messaging around ESG efforts across all platforms (internal newsletters, Arabina, website, social media, awards submissions, etc.).
- Support in communicating with the ESG Champions and act as one of the points of contact for them on ESG matters.
- Work with external auditors, consultants, and other third parties on ESG-related assessments and reporting.
Job Requirements:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or any related field from a recognized university (preferably specialized in Sustainability or Environment studies).
Experience
- 7+ years experience in sustainability, ESG reporting, or related roles.
Competencies:
- Experience in sustainability, ESG reporting, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of sustainability frameworks, reporting standards (e.g., GRI, SASB), and ESG trends.
- Proven experience in managing sustainability projects and driving internal engagement.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficiency in data analysis and report preparation.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
