The Recruitment Specialist at Jo Academy is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process to support the company's mission of transforming education through technology. This role involves sourcing, attracting, and onboarding top talent, focusing on hiring for roles that drive Jo Academy's growth in the EdTech space.
- Review resumes and conduct preliminary screenings to assess candidates' qualifications, technical skills, and cultural fit.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers, ensuring a professional and positive candidate experience.
- Facilitate virtual interviews, utilizing online tools and platforms to assess technical and interpersonal skills.
- Maintain and manage the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure all candidate information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Prepare and extend job offers, negotiating terms when necessary to secure top talent.
- Assist with onboarding tasks, ensuring new hires receive a smooth introduction to Jo Academy's culture and mission.
- Track and report key recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, source of hire, and candidate satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in recruitment, preferably in the EdTech or technology sector.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle multiple recruitment projects and meet deadlines.
