We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager with international expertise to drive lead generation and market expansion as we grow our global footprint.
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with over 10 years of international business development experience in the technology or cloud services sector. The ideal candidate will spearhead lead generation, forge strategic partnerships, and drive Cloudvests’ expansion into new global markets while strengthening our position as a trusted AWS partner.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to generate high-quality leads and achieve revenue targets in international markets.
- Identify and penetrate new markets, focusing on regions such as Europe, North America, or Asia, while leveraging AWS ecosystems.
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, AWS teams, and industry partners.
- Collaborate with marketing to create targeted campaigns, thought leadership content, and events to enhance brand visibility.
- Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer needs to position Cloudvests’ services effectively.
- Negotiate contracts, close deals, and ensure customer satisfaction to foster long-term partnerships.
- Provide insights to leadership on market opportunities, risks, and operational requirements for global expansion.
- Mentor junior sales team members to build a high-performing business development culture.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 10+ years in business development or sales, with at least 5 years in international markets within the technology, cloud services, or IT consulting industry.
- Industry Knowledge: Proven success in selling cloud solutions, preferably as an AWS partner, with a deep understanding of AWS services and ecosystems.
- Network: Established relationships with enterprise clients, AWS teams, or technology partners in target markets.
- Skills:
- Exceptional lead generation, negotiation, and deal-closing abilities.
- Strong strategic planning and market analysis skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
- Attributes: Self-motivated, results-oriented, and adaptable to fast-paced, global environments. Willingness to travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with AWS Partner Network (APN) programs or certifications.
- Success in scaling B2B tech businesses into new geographic regions.
- Familiarity with MENA market dynamics and cultural nuances.
