The Industrial Engineering Executive will be responsible for analyzing, improving, and optimizing industrial processes. This role involves utilizing engineering principles to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality while reducing waste and costs across production and operational systems.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct time and motion studies to evaluate production processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement efficient workflows, work standards, and process improvements to optimize productivity and minimize operational costs.
- Analyse and design the layout of equipment and workspaces to ensure smooth production flow and maximize efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality control, and logistics to ensure alignment on process improvements.
- Prepare detailed reports on process performance, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommending actions.
- Monitor and track operational metrics to ensure targets are met and identify opportunities for further improvements.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and best practices in industrial engineering.
- Provide technical support for new product development, equipment selection, and factory layout planning.
- Manage projects related to process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
- Conduct training sessions for employees on best practices, new systems, or changes to operational processes.
- Should have working experience in lean manufacturing systems is preferable.
- Should Drive Kaizen Culture in shopfloor with deskilling operations/eliminating Nonvalue added activities.
Essential Skills:
- Experience with automation and digitalization in manufacturing environments.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, workflow optimization, and productivity analysis.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate with multiple departments.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficient in MS office( excel/ ppt).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience.
