Role Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Junior Geomatics Engineer to join our team. You will be involved in UAV-based surveying, GIS data processing, and spatial analysis to support national and international geospatial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting land and aerial surveys using drones, GNSS, and total stations.
- Process geospatial data using GIS and photogrammetry software.
- Generate Orthomosaic, DEMs, and 3D point clouds.
- Support in fieldwork for data collection and ground truth validation.
- Ensure data accuracy and conduct quality control assessments.
- Contribute to the creation of maps, spatial databases, and technical reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project delivery.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Surveying, GIS, or a related field.
- Familiarity with GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS) and photogrammetry tools (Agisoft Metashape, Pix4D).
- Basic understanding of UAV operations and remote sensing.
- Proficiency in spatial data handling and coordinate systems.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with GNSS post-processing and drone flight planning software.
- Knowledge of Python or MATLAB for geospatial data scripting.
