Meeting and Events Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development:
Proactively source and secure new meeting and event business across corporate, social, and association markets.
Conduct sales calls, site inspections, and client presentations.
Build and maintain strong client relationships to maximize repeat business and referrals.
Account Management:
Manage the full sales cycle, from inquiry to contract negotiation and event coordination handover.
Work collaboratively with the operations team to ensure client expectations are exceeded.
Event Planning Support:
Understand client needs and translate them into detailed event briefs.
Collaborate with internal teams to design customized event experiences.
Revenue Generation:
Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets and KPIs.
Accurately forecast revenue and maintain up-to-date records in CRM systems.
Market Analysis:
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to adjust strategies accordingly.
Provide feedback and recommendations for marketing initiatives and sales strategies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Event Management, or related field preferred.
Minimum 3 years' experience in event sales, hotel sales, or a similar role.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
