Job Description:
The Operations Officer at Picasso School of Art plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of the school. This position oversees administrative processes, facility management, student services, and operational efficiency to create an optimal learning environment for students and faculty. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities while improving internal workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Administrative & Operational Management:
- Oversee daily administrative operations, ensuring efficiency and organization.
- Maintain school records, student enrollment data, and faculty schedules.
- Assist in the implementation of policies and procedures for smooth school operations.
- Support the Director in strategic planning and decision-making.
2. Facility & Resource Management:
- Ensure classrooms, studios, and equipment are well-maintained and available for use.
- Coordinate facility repairs, maintenance, and inventory management.
- Manage vendor relationships and procurement of supplies and materials.
3. Student & Faculty Support:
- Assist students and faculty with inquiries related to schedules, materials, and school facilities.
- Work closely with the admissions and academic teams to enhance student experience.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and school regulations.
4. Event & Program Coordination:
- Help organize exhibitions, workshops, and special events for students and staff.
- Coordinate logistics for guest lectures, industry visits, and student projects.
- Ensure operational support for fashion, jewelry, and drawing design programs.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in operations, administration, or school management is preferred. Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and school management systems.
- Ability to work in a creative environment and adapt to changing needs.
