Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Frontend Developer located in Amman. The Senior Frontend Developer will be responsible for developing and implementing user interface components using front-end technologies. They will collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability and create a seamless user experience.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop high-quality, maintainable, and scalable frontend applications.
- Translate complex product requirements and UI/UX designs into efficient, reusable components and user-centric experiences.
- Ensure cross-platform compatibility and responsive designs that deliver exceptional user experiences.
- Participate in architectural discussions and make impactful technical decisions on frontend systems.
- Work closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams to deliver cohesive features and functionality.
- Drive performance optimization, accessibility, and responsive design best practices.
- Review code, mentor junior engineers, and advocate for frontend excellence.
- Stay current with the latest frontend trends and introduce relevant innovations to the team.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience in frontend development with frameworks like React.js, Next.js, or Vue.js.
- Proven ability to build responsive, performant web applications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a sharp attention to detail.
- Familiarity with server-side rendering (e.g. Next.js, Nuxt.js).
- Hands-on experience with unit testing and automated testing workflows.
- Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks.
- Understanding of user experience (UX) design principles.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating frontend with backend services.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
