We are hiring a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead our technology and development teams in Baghdad, Iraq. This position is open to candidates willing to relocate.
The CIO will drive the IT strategy, manage coding and software development teams, and ensure the successful execution of technology projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a robust IT and software development strategy aligned with business goals.
- Lead and mentor coding teams, software developers, and technical staff.
- Oversee system architecture, application development, cybersecurity, and IT operations.
- Foster innovation and ensure high performance in technology delivery.
- Manage IT budgets, technology partnerships, and vendor relationships.
Requirements:
- Minimum 15 years of experience in Information Technology, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles.
- Strong experience in leading coding teams, software developers, and large-scale tech projects.
- Expertise in modern programming languages, software development frameworks, and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Willingness to relocate to Baghdad.
