Role Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Engineer to join our growing data team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and infrastructure to support analytics, reporting, and machine learning initiatives across the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to support business data needs
- Develop and optimize data models for data warehousing and analytics
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and availability across all systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data analysts, scientists, and software engineers
- Implement data governance and security best practices
- Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner
- Work with structured and unstructured data across various systems and APIs
- Leverage cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for data storage and processing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role
- Strong SQL skills and experience with at least one programming language (Python, etc)
- Hands-on experience with data pipeline tools such as AWS Redshift, NoSQL, SQL Databases.
- Familiarity with data warehousing tools (Redshift, etc.)
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS)
- Understanding of data modeling, performance optimization, and big data technologies
