Job Purpose
As a Product Manager at Tarjama&, you will be responsible for defining, prioritizing, and evaluating
the work produced by a software Scrum team to ensure the development of high-quality features
and functionality that align with business goals and user needs.
Requirements
Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Shape and refine the product roadmap to align with the company's long-term vision and
evolving market needs.
- Define and communicate product goals, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Oversee the entire Product Lifecycle, including requirement gathering, wireframing, defining
user flows and stories, sprint planning, development oversight, release coordination, and
testing.
Development & Execution
- Prioritize and manage development tasks in collaboration with the Tech Lead, ensuring
smooth execution of sprints.
- Work closely with engineering, design, sales, finance, and operations to refine specifications
and drive product enhancements.
- Advocate for an automation-first approach, implementing automation where applicable to
enhance efficiency.
User Experience & Optimization
- Own the platform experience, ensuring that users can fully rely on it to perform their jobs
efficiently.
- Conduct user surveys and feedback sessions to gather insights for continuous improvement
- Implement A/B testing and experiments to assess the impact of new features and optimize
functionality.
- Track, evaluate, and act on key performance indicators (KPIs) to enhance product
performance and user experience.
Stakeholder & Expectation Management
- Set and manage clear expectations for stakeholders across multiple departments
- Maintain transparency regarding progress, priorities, and potential challenges
- Ensure seamless communication and alignment between teams to drive product success
Education, Experience & Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Administration,
or any related field.
- At least 7+ years of experience in product management or a comparable role
- Proven expertise in managing products using Agile/Scrum methodology and tools like Jira
- Experience in researching technical documentation and translating insights into clear
product requirements.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to define and improve KPI metrics to drive product
success.
- Familiarity with API integrations or experience in setting up automation workflows
- Ability to prioritize features based on business impact, data insights, and strategic goals
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams
- Ability to influence without authority, build consensus, and drive decisions using data
- A structured and organized approach to prioritizing tasks for both yourself and your team
- Comfortable creating and delivering presentations and reports to senior leadership
- Fluent in English and Arabic, both written and spoken
