Job Summary
The Director of Marketing Strategy will be responsible for developing, implementing, and leading the overall marketing strategy for the company. This senior leadership role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing a marketing team, and driving long-term growth and brands positioning. And will leverage data, market research, and industry insights to inform marketing initiatives, align them with business objectives, and ensure measurable results
Key Responsibility Areas:
- Develop and Implement Marketing Strategy:
- Lead the development of the company’s marketing strategy in alignment with the overall business goals and objectives.
- Identify key market opportunities and target audiences to drive brands awareness, customer acquisition, and retention.
- Define strategic objectives and measurable KPIs for marketing initiatives.
- Drive innovation in marketing strategies by staying informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments (Sales, Product, Operations, etc.) to ensure marketing strategies are aligned with business needs.
- Collaborate with creative, digital, and content teams to develop compelling campaigns.
- Partner with the data analytics team to track, measure, and optimize marketing effectiveness.
- Brands Development and Positioning:
- Lead brands development and positioning efforts to ensure consistency and clarity across all marketing touchpoints.
- Drive efforts to strengthen the company’s value proposition and competitive positioning in the market.
- Marketing Campaigns and Execution:
- Oversee the design, execution, and management of marketing campaigns across multiple channels (digital, print, events, etc.).
- Ensure campaigns are strategically aligned with the company's growth objectives and deliver ROI.
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the marketing strategy team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Develop team capabilities, ensuring they have the resources and skills needed to execute successful marketing strategies.
- Market Research and Insights:
- Conduct and analyze market research to understand consumer behavior, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Provide actionable insights that influence strategic marketing decisions and customer engagement.
- Budget Management and Resource Allocation:
- Manage the marketing budget and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI.
- Monitor and report on marketing spend to ensure it aligns with strategic goals and delivers measurable results.
- Performance Measurement and Reporting:
- Track, measure, and report on the performance of marketing strategies using key metrics (e.g., ROI, engagement, conversion rates).
- Make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
- Foster a culture of innovation within the marketing team, encouraging experimentation with new channels, tactics, and technologies.
- Regularly assess and refine the marketing strategy to ensure it adapts to changing market conditions and evolving customer needs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 10 years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a senior strategy or leadership role.
