We're Hiring: Senior Cost Control Engineer
Mid Contracting Co. is looking for an experienced Senior Cost Control Engineer to join our team in Amman, Jordan.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or Construction Engineering, or a related field (required).
- Master's degree in Construction/Project Management or related field (preferred).
- 6-10 years of experience of cost control experience in construction/contracting,
- Experience in on large-scale projects (hospitals and hotels) is highly preferred
- Hands-on experience with ERP-based project cost control; working knowledge of NextERP (or similar ERP) is strongly preferred.
- Strong command of cost control methodologies: CBS/WBS, budgeting, commitments, accruals, ETC/EAC, cash flow forecasting and earned value management.
- Solid knowledge of contract types (lump sum, unit rate, cost-plus, FIDIC or equivalent), variations, claims and payment mechanisms.
- Ability to read drawings, BOQs and specifications and perform quantity verification.
- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, dashboards); familiarity with Power BI or equivalent reporting tools is an advantage.
- Familiarity with scheduling tools (Primavera P6 / MS Project) and integration of cost with schedule.
- Leadership, delegation and the ability to develop and motivate a team.
- Analytical thinking, attention to detail and sound commercial judgment.
- Clear written and verbal communication, including presenting to senior management and clients.
- Integrity, confidentiality and ownership of results under tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
